Unlike hiking, climbing or diving, cycling is not one of the sports historically practiced in the Calanques. However, the Calanques do offer some great rides for cycling enthusiasts, especially on roads.

Before you leave

Before going into the National Park, plan your visit: find out about the access conditions, check out the route and ensure you are well-equipped (enough water, sun protection, etc.).

Best practices

  • Ride on wide tracks and paths.

  • Avoid driving on paths and scree to preserve the flora.

 Regulations

 Safety

  • Wear a cycle helmet.

  • Take at least 1.5 litres of water for each ½ day with you as well as food.

  • Protect yourself from the sun: sun glasses and sun screen.

  • Be aware of other users: hikers, vehicles, etc.
