Liking gardens, the Mediterranean tree frog is often found in town, close to us... Even if its green colour enables it to discretely hide in vegetation, it can be heard during its breeding season! It can also be heard all year round including during the heart of mild winters. This amphibian returns to water bodies to breed, but travels far and wide the rest of the time, including in very dry areas such as the garrigue scrubland in the Calanques National Park, where it hunts insects.
